The upper construction is made from an innovative, lightweight microfiber material that is both flexible and abrasion-resistant. Soft microfiber panels on the front and rear bellows provide added comfort in high-flex zones, while a durable synthetic toe box enhances protection against abrasion. An extended PU synthetic gaiter helps prevent excessive water and dirt from entering the boot.

Comprehensive TPU protection includes a contoured calf protector plate, higher medial protector, outer lateral ankle protector, and a reinforced heel counter, all designed to offer superior support and impact resistance. A rear TPR gaiter patch placed over the TPU calf protector increases comfort and protection during rear flex.

The injected TPU shin plate is connected to the TPU medial panel, and works with a Velcro® upper closure and TPR flap to deliver a wide calf-adjustment range and secure support. The higher TPU medial protector also features a technical texture to enhance grip.

A bio-mechanical medial blade system provides controlled front and rear flex while supporting and protecting the ankle. The ergonomic triple-buckle TPU straps wrap smoothly across the front flex zone, maintaining flexibility without compromising stability. The innovative closure system includes three polymer buckles with memory-adjust ratchets and self-aligning quick-release fasteners for precise and easy operation. All buckles are fully replaceable.

The boot features an advanced one-piece TPU-injected dual-compound foot shell, reinforced with an internal metal shank and co-injected support components for strength. Soft foam around the ankles and collar enhances comfort and shock absorption, while a full textile lining improves overall feel.

A replaceable anatomical EVA footbed with textile topping is included, along with an additional, specially sized footbed to accommodate growth and extend boot lifespan 

The boot is equipped with a specific Alpinestars all-terrain outsole made from high-grip rubber compounds; the sole is fully replaceable.

The Tech 3S Youth Boot is CE-certified to EN 13634:2010.
